Modern life asks a lot from the body. Many of us spend hours at a desk, in meetings, on phones, or moving from one screen to the next without much recovery time. Even when the work is meaningful, the body can start holding stress in ways that feel familiar but are not actually neutral.
You may notice a lifted chest that makes it harder to breathe deeply. You may notice tension in the neck, shoulders, jaw, hips, or low back. You may even notice that focus gets harder when the body has been bracing for too long.
