Evidence-Backed Wellness Solutions for Today’s Digital Workforce

Modern teams are carrying more than busy calendars. Digital overload, chronic stress, fractured attention, and screen-heavy routines can wear down clarity, creativity, and connection. Somatic Ecotherapy offers science-informed, nature-based experiences that help teams reset in a way people can actually feel. This is not a trust fall or a one-time morale boost. It is practical, deeply human support for nervous system recovery, focus, and shared presence.

A Restorative Alternative to Traditional Team Building

Today’s teams do not just need more engagement. They need real recovery.

Somatic Ecotherapy helps workplace groups step out of constant stimulation and into practices that support clarity, regulation, creativity, and connection. Wendy Figone’s work brings together Forest Therapy, self-myofascial release, nature journaling, and guided movement to create experiences that feel grounded, useful, and memorable.

Each program is designed to help people slow down, reset stress patterns, and leave with simple practices they can continue using after the session ends

Why This Matters for Companies

When teams are stretched thin, the cost shows up in more than mood. It shows up in attention, communication, creativity, energy, and culture. Nature immersion and somatic practices offer a grounded way to support the people behind the work.

Stress Recovery

Guided nature and somatic practices help teams downshift from chronic activation and recover from the strain of screen-heavy workdays.

Attention & Focus

These experiences support attention restoration and help people come back with more mental clarity, steadier focus, and less overload.

Communication & Connection

When stress softens and presence increases, communication becomes easier, and teams often reconnect with more empathy, trust, and psychological safety.

Creativity & Problem-Solving

Nature-based restoration supports fresh thinking, cognitive flexibility, innovation, and the kind of creativity teams need when work feels dense and demanding.

Flexible Formats for Different Teams and Settings

Programs can be shaped around your goals, your people, and your setting. Somatic Ecotherapy can support leadership teams, departments, conference groups, and workplace communities with formats that range from a single reset to a fuller retreat experience.
  • Group Size
Small teams, leadership groups, and larger workplace gatherings can all be supported. Existing materials reference team-oriented Forest Therapy sessions for groups of 10 to 30, plus movement-based resets that can scale much larger depending on format.
  • Timing Options
Choose a format that fits your day. Options can include short movement resets, 90 to 120 minute workshops, 2 to 3 hour guided Forest Therapy sessions, half-day programs, or deeper retreat-style combinations.
  • Location Flexibility
Programs may be offered onsite at retreat centers, corporate campuses, healthcare organizations, and conference venues, or offsite in parks, forests, coastal environments, and nature preserves throughout California.
  • Custom Program Design
Experiences can be tailored around digital wellbeing, stress recovery, creativity, leadership reflection, team reconnection, or a larger retreat agenda. Many programs also include take-home practices so the benefits continue after the session.
